Fitness is about gains. Its about moving forward, being healthier, and meeting
your goals. Nothing is worse than getting injured and instead of being in the
gym, you're at home messed up. Russ and I have been athletes our whole lives.
We have had our share of set backs, injuries, surgeries, and physical therapy.
We have a lifetime of education and experience that has taught us that taking
care of our bodies in required. Our mobility and recovery classes are to make
you feel better. We utilize primal movement exercises, mobility improvement,
yoga, stretching, and general amazingness to make sure your body has a good
ability to maintain your lifestyle. Fitness, in our opinion, needs to be
geared toward something. You either want to be an Olympian, a ninja warrior, a
body builder, a happy parent, healthy, less tired, have less pain, or live to
see your grandchildren. What ever your fitness goal is, this class is to help
you get there. No one's goals include set backs, but they happen. We hope to
reduce them.
What is mobility? What is primal movement? What is going to happen in this
class? Some of it is super secret stuff. A lot of it involves me making you
crawl around and look generally strange. But take me word, you feel so much
better. This is where you are not allowed to start saying, "I can't do that."
Because this class is literally (I literally know the correct usage of
literally) to make you be able to do the stuff you didn't believe you could.
So just come in.
